Inspiring seniors to have an active lifestyle. Assessing each person on an individual basis and designing a program for their specific needs and goals. I’ve been a personal trainer for over 20 years and I enjoy helping the senior population reach their full potential.
Qualifications and Skills:
- In the final stages of editing my book on post-rehab fitness for the senior population
- Oversee a group of personal trainers that conduct an in depth fitness assessment and design and implement fitness programs. Managing a database of over 700 clients
- Opened up the island’s first luxury fitness center, The Antigua Athletic Club in Antigua, West Indies, Sept. 2005. I was hired by the I.F.P.A. to help certify 14 personal trainers
- Owned a private fitness studio in California for 9 years and created a very large clientele. A geriatric doctor purchased my business and had her students work with my elderly clientel
- Elected commissioner for the International Fitness Professionals Association
- Designed and implemented Corporate Fitness Programs in Canada
- As a Post-Rehab Specialist, I take over where the physical therapist has left off and I have worked with many knee, shoulder and back problems. Certified in 11 post-rehab specialties
- I have trained triathletes and have competed in over 25 triathlons
- Written monthly articles for the year 2004 on exercise for The Maturity Today Magazine
- Elite Golf Performance Trainer for the PGATour.com website. Represented Orange and L.A. Counties and analyzed the golfer’s fitness performance
- Conducted research with a doctor in Santa Monica on creating and implementing the best type of exercises to improve bone density

Karla Rehm

Karla Rehm is an ACE Certified personal trainer. She’s been in the fitness industry for 26 years, focusing on the over 50 population since moving to Las Vegas in 1999. She’s educated people about fitness around the world during her career and has an obvious interest in her client’s health and well being. She has two children, Anna 22, and Joseph 20. She is also an accomplished artist, muralist and faux finisher. Come by the fitness center and talk to her. She is interested in helping you keep fit, active and injury free!

Art Lorentzen

Art is an IFPA Certified Personal Trainer and has many years of experience in Fitness & Health. A life long athlete, he has participated in many 5k, 10k, 1/2 marathons & 2 marathons, as well as, many dual-athlons and tri-athlons. Art has played golf for over 40 years. Art will be conducting group golf fitness and softball fitness classes along with One-on-One Personal Training.
Art worked for FDIC for 24 years as a Bank Examiner and Executive in charge of Asset Dispositions. He was a Commercial Real Estate Consultant for 15 years.
Art loves helping people reach their health & fitness goals. He is very patient & allows the client to work at their own rate. He emphasizes the aspect of wellness & doing what you want at any age.
