While waiting for back surgery, I decided to see Brenda for pain management. After a postural analysis, she said that tight muscles were putting a lot of stress on my lower back. She designed a stretching program for me and within a few weeks, I was out of pain. My next program was to strengthen my core muscles and stabilize my back. After she showed me what to do, I continued with the exercises and the pain was gone. I felt so great that I cancelled my back surgery. I can do anything!

When I moved to Sun City Anthem, I decided to join the gym. Since I was unfamiliar with the equipment, I hired a personal trainer. Brenda worked with me 3x a week for the first 2 months and once a week ever since (over 7 years). I find it is enough to maintain my fitness level and do the things that I enjoy doing like, golfing, dancing and traveling. I also do cardio on my own twice a week.

After a poor bone density report, I knew I needed an exercise program but didn't know what to do. My neighbor told me about Brenda's success with clients improving their bone density.
She even lectures to doctors on the effective exercises that improve bone density. I hired her to help me out. The two most important things that I learned to increase my bone density was to lower the weight slowly (6 seconds) and to exercise my heart rate to 75% intensity.

I workout regularly but never had specific goals. After getting together with a trainer, I was able to shorten my workouts, drop a dress size and define my body. Meeting with a trainer for new ideas keeps its fun.
